Hector Quintana is a Mexican musician from the state of Sonora with vast experience in different music genres. He has been an advisor, music professor, director and arranger for different projects and has ventured into genres like jazz, latin jazz, latin, rock, pop rock. He has participated as studio musician (session) for different artists like Martin Valverde and Tesalonica. Throughout his professional career he has been a bassist, guitarist, vocalist and percussionist mainly for artists such as Daniel Betancourt and Jorge Luis del Hierro. He is currently a percussionist and vocalist for Latin rock band Maná, one of the most renowned international bands in Latin music, and has participated in 3 of their world tours as well as in the recording of two of their albums in their own recording studio.
